Hurricane (pronounced
Hurr-i-cahn), UT
Really, nothing happened in Hurricane. I drove there. I stayed at the Rodeway Inn, primarily
because they listed a spa and pool as amenities. When I arrived, the pool and spa were closed
due to disrepair. It was a rather
meaningless evening. It was a stopgap
before California. If you are driving to
L.A. and need a good place to stop the night before, I would not recommend
Hurricane. I stopped in Cedar City, Utah
on my way back out, and that was a much more pleasant place, as it was a
college town.
